鳥瞰后山 Serene Scenes of Rear Hill Slopes

On the axis line of the rear slopes of Longevity Hill is a group of
magnificent Buddhist buildings, a replica of the Samyai Monastery
in Tibet featuring both Tibetan and Han architectural styles.

宝雲閣 Pavilion of Precious Clouds

Also known as the Bronze Pavilion, the Pavilion of Precious Clouds
is 7.55 meters high and weighs 207 tons, with exquisite decorative
patterns on its walls. Sitting on a white marble base, the pavilion
looks extremely solemn. Lamas used to chant scriptures and pray
for emperor and empress here.
