| Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion is Penang's first grade one restoration project. It was the winner of "Most Excellent Project" UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Conservation Awards 2000. The mansion was the residence of Cheong Fatt Tze who came from a poor Hakka family and later accumulated his wealth through hard work and perseverance. |
